Wendigos

Wendigos are creatures that where once human but lose the features of a human after being frost to eat human flesh, because of avalanches, mining accidents, or some other accident that cause hunger to one. Some myths say that some accent tribes' shamans would eat human flash to protect their tribe, but soon see the effects are permanent. Windigos have supernatural speed, intelligence and strength, they are also live for years on end if given the right amount of food to live. The Windigo can hibernate for five to six years at a time. The Windigo can not enter protective circles with Anasazi symbols. The only way to kill the creature is to do so by fire, but it is extremity difficult do to the fact of super intelligence, strength, and speed.
